Sarah Palin dropped in to say hi

So, I am finally updating our blog. It has only been like two months. I love to come in and look at everyone else's, but I don't really ever have anything to post. We are pretty boring like that. We did have a pretty fun Halloween! My cousin Kim and Kyrstin came up to visit. One of Kyrstin's friends from V-town moved up here so she mostly hung out with her (Guess we weren't cool enough!). We had a good time! Kim seriously looked like Sarah Palin! It was cracking me up! We went out to eat, went shopping on Saturday (of course) and then all of us went down to a haunted house in Ogden Saturday night. Cam was stuck with all us girls! The haunted house was not too scary, but it was still fun! Everyone kept making me go first, I'm not sure why! It is probably because I am so brave! Okay, not really! I was actually pretty glad it wasn't scary! I seem to be a baby these days! I miss Kim a ton! She is so awesome! She totally makes me laugh! I have to say, we have been blessed to have some pretty amazing family and friends! I am so grateful for all of them! Looking at these pictures, I am kind of a cheese ball huh! I need to work on that!

Logan Canyon

I made Cam go for a drive last Sunday because it had rained. He is a pretty good sport sometimes. It looked so pretty! We look like a bunch of lazyies (totally a word) in our sweats. I just love Logan Canyon. Nuff said.

Days on the farm - with Treydan

We went over to Cam's house on the farm the other day. It is the best time of year to go! They are chopping corn, the weather is perfect, and it looks beautiful! We also got to hang-out with Treydan! One of our other adorable nephews! He is too dang cute! He is a little chatter-box! Look at how high that corn is too! Holy Cow! I also took pictures of Cam and Treydan driving through the Bear River. It probably wouldn't have worked so well if I had been on the back still! Just some cool pictures I wanted to post! Check out the one with Treydan throwing the corn! Cam takes much better pictures than I do!

This video makes me laugh! Obviously Cam loves this time of year on the farm! I'm not sure I would like that smell in my house all the time, but it is a bit more sentimental for Cam! The other half is of Treydan and I posing for pictures! Even Treydan took some pictures! They weren't too bad!

Applying for grad school

What have we been up to lately? Not much to be honest! We have been really busy trying to get everything ready to apply for PA school for Cam. We have been trying to type his paper (explaining why he wants to be a PA, etc). It is the most important part, and the hardest part! It can only be 495 words (about a page). It has been pretty rough! Wish us luck! We almost have the paper done. Crazy crazy! Poor Cam!

Bryckmen at the fair

So, I was a little slow at posting this video. I was going to post more video, but I am not very good at this technology stuff. This was my nephew Bryckmen's first fair ride! It cracked me up. He rode it once and loved it! The first of this video is him after he got off the ride the first time! He was really devastated! Ashley put him back on the ride and he was so excited!

I heart the Derby!

I love Demolition Derbies! They are the best! We went down to the Demo Derby in good old V-town last weekend. It was fun! A lot of my Dad's family was there, which made it a good time. I miss them all! Here are some pictures! I will try and put some video on tomorrow if I am feeling ambitious. Good old Bryckmen (too cute). Some pictures of Bryckmen on the fair rides too (which he loved) Kim and Brant (I miss my Kim). The picture of me and Cam is a little scary of me. Light right in my face. My eyes look orange. And what's with my cow lick that I always have? I had to post it though because in this picture you can tell that Cam's eyes are two different colors! I think it is so cool! There was also so motorbike riders as well. I don't know how I went to the Demolition Derby and got no pictures of cars though! Sad!

Getting a kitty? - Bad idea!

So, our kitty tries to look innocent (see the picture), but she is not! Not at all! She is a stinker! I left the other day for 15 minutes. When I came home, I found my favorite vase in pieces! Yes, pieces! I was pretty devastated! I sat it up and put the pieces on the counter. Then the next day, the same thing! Came home and it was knocked over again! Arrggh! The only reason I put it on the ground was so she would quit jumping into this little reed like decoration I had! I stayed up and glued it together the other night, and it looks okay if I turn it at the right angle! She is out of control! Seriously. We find cords chewed up, things knocked over, etc. The only time she is calm is when she is asleep. So, anyone thinking of getting a cat, or pet, maybe try getting a grown-up one. My advice.

Eventful Thursday

We had a busy Thursday this week. It was a lot of fun though! We went down to my friend Holly Holl's (Holly) wedding in Bountiful. I took the day off of work, but we still had to get up early! There was crazy traffic too! I was worried we wouldn't make it, but by a miracle we did! It was so pretty! She looked so cute and the sealing was really nice! She is one of my best buds! We lived together for about 2 years. Then they had a luncheon we went to. We got back to Logan that evening and then went to the Rodeo with our ward! We have the coolest ward! They always are planning fun stuff! It was pretty darn fun! We all got drenched though! I really thought it wouldn't rain (the clouds always fake us out here!), but I was wrong! It made it entertaining tough! Pretty soon we were all crammed under the covered seating! Fun times!

Here is cute Holl with her cute (I over use that word don't I!) little nieces holding her dress.

Here is from the Rodeo! See everyone is covered up with their blankets and everything! It was pretty crazy, but fun!

Here is a video. I thought Cam was taking a picture at first, hence the goofy grin.

Fun with Bryckmen

We went home for the 24th weekend and got to play with ol' Bryckmen. He is hilarious! I tried to pretend like I was asleep, and so he tried to step on me, for starters. Then he sat on me, kept crawling over me, and bit my nose! It was making me laugh so hard! I couldn't keep a straight face to even pretend I was sleeping! Then he was having fun knocking Cam's boxes over (he yells at the end!). Notice how devastated he is when I sat up and my dad wouldn't let him step on me! He was getting pretty frustrated trying to figure out how! Who needs their own kids when you can play with other people's? Just playing! We are excited for that day of having our own! We should get our own so we don't have to post videos and pictures of just our nephews. Who can blame us though! They are too dang cute! Sorry so blurry too! From my phone!

Family Reunion

We went down to Mount Timpanogas area for a good ol' family reunion! We didn't hike to the cave though because it was pretty darn busy (I was a little bummed!). We had a good time though! It was fun just to see everyone and talk. This is the cutest video of my brother's little boy Bryckmen (on the left), and Nick and Kesha's boy Boston (on the right). They were cracking me up! Too cute!

ABC's "getting to know you" TAG. Complete the ABC's of you. Then, each player tags 3 people and posts their names, goes to their blogs and leaves a comment letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
A- Attached or single: Married for 2 years (crazy!)
B- Best Friend: My sweetie Cam and my fam - Mom, Dad, & Luke
C-Cake or Pie: I love cake! Actually, I love frosting! Except the cool whip frosting. It doesn't count.
D-Day: I love days when I don't have to work! Saturday and Sunday! I love doing nothing on Saturdays, or having time to play. However, I do not like Saturdays when I clean. Not a big fan of all day cleaning, but I do that sometimes. I also love church! It makes my week better!
E- Essential Item: Food and water. Ha ha, obviously! Well, I would say dental floss and face soap! I always get stuff in my teeth. I also have not went a day with out washing my face. I even take it camping. I think it is an obsessive compulsive thing.
F- Favorite Color: Hmm... they are all pretty great, but I would say apple green and browns.
Gummy Bears or Worms: Well, depends on the mood I am in and which is cheaper at the store. At the moment I would say bears because they have more of a variety of flavor.
H-Home town: Vernal, UT
I- Indulgences: Desserts--I love cookies! I also probably waste more time than I should watching TV. I also have an obsession with buying makeup. Cam hates it. I go and buy it and then don't like it or don't use it. I wish you could take makeup back! That would be nice!
J- January or July?: I would say July! I love summer and doing things outside (camping, hiking, bike rides, etc.). I think if I found a hobby or sport I liked in winter I might like it more (maybe!).
K-Kids: Not yet. We have a kitty though. She is a bit out of control! We consider it training for parenthood. We also have some dang cute nephews and cousins!
L-Life is incomplete without: Family and friends
M- Marriage Date: June 3, 2006
N- Number of Siblings: 1 brother, Lucas
O- Oranges or Apples: Hmm... I love both... but I would say oranges (when they are in season). Not a big fan of pealing them, but I do love to eat them!
P- Phobias or Fears: I'm kind of a sissy! I would be embarrassed to list too many! I will say I have a fear of being hit by a car while walking. Not sure where that came from, but I walk pretty fast or wait forever when cars are around.
Q- Quote: Too many good quotes to pick just one! Here is one I have on my fridge: "Let us be a happy people. The Lord's plan is a plan of happiness. The way will be lighter, the worries will be fewer, the confrontations will be less difficult if we cultivate a spirit of happiness". - Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley. On a less profound note, I also like, "What you talkin' bout' Willis!?"
R- Reason To Smile: I have so many! I have been so blessed! I have a great family and have had some great experiences! I have the gospel which teaches me so much!
S- Season: Fall for sure! Love it! Spring comes in at a close second though! Fall in Logan town is beaut-i-ful!
T- Tag Three: Julienne, Kesha, Alexis, and Taylor (that is four, I know, but I wanted to do 4).
U- Unknown fact about me: I don't know if I can think of any strange facts. I love reading little kids books! Wow! Crazy huh! Okay, I'm pretty boring!
V- Vegetarian or Oppressor of Animal: Oppressor of animal? Nice. I don't eat a lot of meat, but I do love chicken and I like my ham sandwiches!
W- Worst Habit: Wow, tough one! I have a lot of habits! I would say my worst is procrastination! It always worked well for me in school though. I think I do my best work under pressure!
X-Rays or Ultrasounds: I have never had either. I am guessing an ultrasound would be way cooler though!
Y-Your favorite food: I love food! Like I said, I love me a boring ol' ham sandwich (I never get tired of them), cookies, cereal, italian food, etc. However, I don't like raw onions or raw tomatoes.
Z- Zodiac Sign: Scorpio. I don't know what that says about me, but that is my sign.

Greatest Dads EVER!

I thought with Father's Day being yesterday that we needed to tell our dads how much we love them! I have the most amazing dad! He is the perfect example of integrity! If he tells someone he will do something, he does it. He always thinks of others before himself. I remember days when I was sad, he would be the only one to make me laugh! He still makes me laugh harder than anyone! He does things that he doesn't want to, just to make us happy (like driving around to see Christmas lights!). He has a wonderful testimony of the gospel, and it shows in his example. He is always doing so much for others, especially his own children! I just hope he knows how much I really love him (and Cam does too)! You like the pictures? I kind of look like a little boy with no hair!

Cam's dad has taught him so much! I see how hard of a worker Cam is and how much he helps me, and I know he learned it from his dad! His dad always tries to make me feel welcome at their home. He is always asking me how work is going among other things. He is a man with some funny stories and is always excited when his kids are home! His grandkids won't leave his side. I remember him talking about his kids at dinner one night and he got emotional. You could see how much he loves them. Cam and I just wanted to say love you very much! In these pictures Cam's dad is holding him and in the other one he has on the blue pants! So cute!

Our little Kitty

So, we got a little kitty. Wasn't our smartest idea yet. These pictures are from a week ago, so she is not this little now. She was so sweet right when we got her. Now, not so much. Her days consist of biting you and attacking your hand, or any other skin showing (including the face I found out), then running to her food dish, then sleeping. Really. That is her little daily cycle she does over and over. There is no real in between mode. It is either attack, or sleep. She has been pretty fun though (a week ago). Cam and I are just training up for having kids someday. Hopefully our kids will be nicer!

Finally Updating Blog

I have finally updated our blog. I go to update it and then I get distracted looking at everyone Else's. Sorry if anyone has tried to comment (Probably not since we only update our blog every 6 months and we are pretty boring!)! I had the settings set weird. I am going to try and post a few more pictures and maybe some videos. Cam's computer is being sent to be fixed (he is pretty sad) and so I am using only the pictures I had on a disc.

Polynesian Cultural center

The Polynesian Cultural center was pretty fun! We were watching the canoe pagent and got drenched with some rain! The rain there just comes out of nowhere, pours, and then is gone in like ten minutes! One of these picture is Cam and I at the Luau. I have no idea why I was holding the menu like that. The other picture is Ashley, Bryckmen and I with our cool Polynesian tattoos. I know, we are rebels!

Dole Plantation and Aquarium

We also visited the Dole Plantation and the aquarium. I swear, pineapple here taste nothing like it does there! It is amazing! I didn't know pineapples grew on the ground either. I always thought they grew on trees. Why don't they teach you things like that in school? The aquarium was near our hotel. It was pretty neat. Bryckmen obviously didn't want me to stand too close!

Hanauma Bay

Here is when we went to Hanauma Bay. This is Luke, Ashley and I getting out to where we could snorkel. Cam is a bit further out! He didn't listen in the orientation video when they said to use the buddy system! I have to keep an eye on that kid! The other picture is of a fish that was following Mom and Dad in the water. There were so many fish! We took pictures with an underwater camera, but it didn't work out too well!

Pearl Harbor

We went to Pearl Harbor the second day and spent a whole day there. We visited the USS Arizona, the submarine, the battleship and the airforce museum. It was a pretty humbling experience to see the video of Pearl Harbor and to see what happened that day. It was such a tragedy! These pictures are us on in the submarine museum, on the submarine, and inside the battleship. We also road on an air flight simulator when we were over by the battleship. We all decided to ride it and thought Bryckmen would be fine. He kept looking at us the whole time wondering if he was supposed to be enjoying it. At the very end the simulator blows air and feels like you are crashing. He didn't enjoy that part very much!

Hawaii or bust!

So, as some may know, we just got back from Hawaii! We went with my parents, Luke and Ashley and Bryckmen (who was really good the whole trip). I never thought I would ever go there! It was so amazing! It was really hard to come back! You know sometimes on Vacations by the end you are ready to come home; you get tired, bored, etc. We tried to think of every excuse we could not to come back! We had so much fun! There just wasn't enough time to see it all! We had to get up pretty early to catch our flight there (4:45am!). As you probably know, I didn't shower (hence the hat). I am not a morning person, so I was pretty exhausted all day! I'm not really sleeping, but I probably could have been! It was never hard at night to go to sleep! Hawaii is about four hours behind Utah! The other picture is us by a marketplace. Bryckmen would stick his arm out like that for pictures. It was making me laugh!

Logan Canyon = Gorgeous!

I love Logan Canyon. Cam took me on a drive a few Sunday's ago so we could see it with the snow. We take a lot of scenic pictures don't we! I have never been that way until I lived here! What can I say, it is pretty! The picture with all the trees is actually on the way out of Logan. Still pretty.

Well, by popular demand we are now updating our blog. Okay, so no one begged us to update it but we figured it was about time since our last post is from Halloween. Maybe someday we will have kids and then our blog will be more exciting. We don't post much because either we don't do much exciting or we don't take a lot of pictures. Probably both in our case! We did take a little trip to Salt Lake a few weekends ago to get out of Logan town. It was fun! We walked around temple square and went to the Joseph Smith movie (for like the fifth time). It is so awesome! This picture is a bit blurry but it is all we have. If you can't tell, we took it ourselves.
